Gratitude; is the quality of being thankful. A state of readiness to show appreciation for a good deed and return kindness.
Gratitude is not only an expression of words. It is expressed in giving back. Giving back can be done without words. Giving back are actions that equally reciprocate what we are being grateful for.
For the gifts and blessings, for what we have and what we do not have, gratitude is a show of thanksgiving for all.
There can be no genuine gratitude shown without contentment.
A satisfied man is a happy man; a happy man is a grateful man. After all, contentment and gratefulness have always been part of the Lord’s teachings.
Gratitude is regardless of where we’re at in life. The crucial thing is staying grounded and praising God irrespective of the current situation.
There are no exemptions to the times when thanksgiving should be offered. There are no selected times that gratitude becomes worthwhile.
Gratitude is what opens up layers of God’s faithfulness and kindness to us. Gratitude is acceptance as well as a show of desire to want more. Gratitude qualifies us for deeper engagement with what God has in store.
Gratitude is a state of mind. It is like a seed sown that grows to bear fruits in us. A grateful mind can never toe up with a toxic life.
A grateful heart produces a life that embraces the person of Christ more. Gratitude removes hostility from our lives; thereby, we receive deeper access into the storehouse of His goodness.
This man, who had been entirely free of his illness, was full of faith. He was receptive to thanksgiving. He returned to Jesus out of gratitude, knelt at his feet, and thanked Him for showing mercy.
Jesus said to him, “Arise, go thy way: thy faith hath made thee whole - Luke 17:19,” it feels like a different level of impartation has occurred. This was purely produced by man’s love and endearment to the goodness of God.
This story further strengthens our position on how being grateful is a display of faith, believe in the wholesome work of God.
It is pellucid enough to note that many believers, out of delay to their miracles, out of frustration on their current predicament, have closed up a window, a door of fresh intervention from the Highest, because they have withheld their gratitude over the little things.
We veto against deep and sincere thanksgiving because we have all proofs to show how untimely thanking God would be at a particular time. Our hearts and our minds get overwhelmed by the seemingly unending turmoils raging on in and around us.
Thanksgiving draws us closer to God and all the fullness of God.
Be grateful.
